Rules

Every UCC bout is sanctioned, insured and governed by a unified ruleset across all disciplines. The essentials are below.

01

General Conduct

All competitors must be licensed, medically cleared and make weight at the official weigh-in the day before the event. Respect for opponents, officials and the ruleset is mandatory at all times.

02

Weight Classes

Bouts are contested across six weight classes from Lightweight to Heavyweight, plus a Women's division. Missing weight results in penalties or cancellation of the bout.

03

Bout Format

Standard bouts are three rounds; title fights are five rounds of five minutes. Bare-Knuckle main events follow specialized timing announced per card.

04

Winning a Bout

Victory comes by knockout, technical knockout, submission (in MMA disciplines), or unanimous, split or majority decision from three cageside judges.

05

Fouls

Strikes to the back of the head, eye gouging, biting and groin strikes are prohibited and may result in point deductions or disqualification.

06

Medical & Safety

A licensed physician is cageside for every bout. Fighters receive a mandatory medical suspension after any stoppage loss before they may compete again.
