URBAN CONFLICT CHAMPIONSHIP - UCC FIGHTS
Urban Conflict Championship (UCC) is an up and coming professional fight series based in the NYC / North Jersey area. The idea for the UCC surfaced a few years ago in early 2008, to combine a love for the world of MMA with the old school, underground fight atmosphere that has been long associated with New York City boxing and fight culture. We strive to promote the most exciting professional MMA matchups this area has ever seen, inside a venue where the tickets are affordable and fans can get right up next to the cage. We are not the UFC, nor do we have any association with them. We are the UCC. The professional fighters who fight in our show come from across the country, and are the young blood and upcoming names in the sport of MMA who you should be keeping your eye on.
UCC Fights was founded upon, and operates out of a genuine appreciation for the world of MMA and the fighters who participate in it. We look to bring a unique style of fighter promotions into this business, in order to help these professional athletes bring their skills to the next level. All the while, we hope that our local success will put pressure on the state of New York to legalize MMA, and stop delaying the inevitable. Urban Conflict Championship has hosted the closest major MMA event to ever take place in vicinity to New York City (right off of the Path Train).
